About Alias

Alias opened it's doors on 15th March 2008 and was founded by Claire Harris. Claire, a former bank

worker lives in Tickhill, the village where Alias is situated.

Since then Alias has built a reputation for quality costumes at a very reasonable price and a friendly

and fun experience when you visit the shop.

On the opening day Claire was dressed as Snow white as she cut the ribbon with the help of her sister

Sarah (Princess Leia) and her friend Jen (Spanish Dancer)

Also there to support Claire on the bigday were her Mum Jill,

Dad Len (who got the job of serving the fizz)

and many more friends and family.

Now in September 2011 Alias is expanding and has begun to trade online. The promise of excellent customer service still stands and we welcome any feedback you may have for us.

"Had a try on in the shop, looking for a fairy tale character for my husband and myself. We agreed to go as an item and chose Red Ridding Hood and the Woodcutter. The outfits were comfortable, hence we had a fab time in them. Plus, they were very reasonably priced AND I had the chance to purchase one if I chose :)

The store was understanding in that the party was some distance away and an amicable understanding for the return of the costumes was reached. Lovely to have that 'personal' touch in the store."
