We may revise these terms and conditions at any time and we will update the website accordingly. Please check our Website from time to time to review the current terms and conditions. If you do not wish to accept any new terms and conditions, you should not continue to use our Website.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£)
All prices are exclusive of postage and packing, unless otherwise stated. Postage charges (if any) are added at the checkout and will be added to the order total.
Please note that all the prices quoted on the website refer to online purchases only and the price of the same item may differ in our store.
You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 7 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange if you have simply changed your mind and the goods have already been dispatched then the cost of the postage cost will be bourn by you. If the goods are faulty then the postage cost will be included in your refund. No refund will be given after 7 days of receipt.
You can return the items by post (at your cost) or if you are local you can return them to our Doncaster store.
Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid for the goods plus postage if aplicable. Please allow up to 14 days for any refunds to appear back in your account.
PLEASE NOTE THAT TEETH, FACIAL HAIR, TIGHTS, STOCKINGS AND WIGS CAN NOT BE RETURNED FOR PERSONAL HYGIENE REASEONS.
Faulty items must be reported to us at firstname.lastname@example.org immediately where possible but within seven days of receipt of goods. The items must be returned to us in the condition they were despatched.
Purchases will not be refunded in the following instances:If the product has been used, this includes the costume smelling of perfume/deodorant or nicotine.If the original packaging is missing or has been damaged. This includes header cards being folded.
Any items returned to us that fall outside our Returns Policy will be held in store for 30 days to allow you to either arrange collection or redelivery. Redelivery will require a signature and will be at a cost of £8.50 to be paid by you. If we have not heard from you within 30 days the items will be destroyed.
We recommend that you return items by Recorded Delivery as Alias cannot be held responsible for items not received from Royal Mail.
A contract is formed between us when we ship your order
Although items will be despatched by Smiffy's on our behalf Alias is fully responsible the card holders purchase, any returns and refunds of payments therefore no items should be returned to Smiffy's directly.
Your order will not be processed until we receive payment in full.
The ordered goods will be delivered to the address entered by you on the on-line order form. Ordered goods will normally be delivered within 1 to 5 working days of your order being accepted depending on your chosen delivery method, unless otherwise notified to you by us. However we shall not be liable for any delay in delivery by Royal Mail. If we fail to despatch any ordered goods within 30 days of accepting your order (unless a longer despatch time has been agreed for special orders) we will refund your payment in full.
If you fail to take delivery of the ordered goods and they are returned to us, we will contact you to discuss a second delivery at your cost. If the goods are no longer required we will refund the cost of goods minus postage charges and minus a £5 administration charge.
Royal Mail - 1st CLASS SIGNED - Not a guaranteed service but 96% of deliveries arrive next working day. Has a parcel number so you can trace when it has been signed for. This is not an insured service and therefore there is no compensation for lost or damaged goods. Signature required. The daily cut off time is 3pm so orders placed after this time will class as being ordered the following working day. Price £5.39
Royal Mail - 2nd CLASS TRACKED - 96% of deliveries arrive next working day. Can be tracked online and is insured up to £50. Signature is not required so proof of delivery not always created. The daily cut off time is 3pm so orders placed after this time will class as being ordered the following working day. Price £6.59
Royal Mail - 2nd CLASS - Most deliveries arrive within 3 working days. This is not an insured service and therefore there is no compensation for lost or damaged goods. The daily cut off time is 3pm so orders placed after this time will class as being ordered the following working day. Price £2.99
Royal Mail – SPECIAL DELIVERY - Guaranteed next day by 1pm. This can be tracked online, with electronic POD and is insured up to £500. The daily cut off time is 3pm so orders placed after this time will class as being ordered the following working day. Please note when using this service on a Friday the order will be delivered on the following working day and not Saturday. Price £9.59
Interlink - NEXT WORKING DAY BETWEEN 8AM AND 6PM - Please note that a small percentage of post codes are excluded from next day services, please ask for more information. This service is not available in Ireland or the Channel Islands. The daily cut off time is 3pm so orders placed after this time will class as being ordered the following working day. For Scottish postcodes this service is slightly later at 1pm. This service is not available in Ireland or the Channel Islands. Orders may take longer to arrive over bank holiday periods. Alias will not be responsible for delayed orders over the bank holidays so please allow extra time and order early to avoid disappointment.
While we endeavour to ensure that this Website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.

This information will be shared with a third party (Smiffy’s) who is responsible for the order processing and delivery. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR HIRE ITEMS
A deposit is required on all hires on top of the set hire fee. The deposit on all £10, £15 and £20 hires is £10 and the deposit on all £25 and £35 hires is £20. All deposits are refundable on return providing that the costume is returned unwashed but otherwise in the condition that it was hired in with all relevant accessories returned.
We understand that accidents do happen and liquid will get spilt on the costumes so providing that the liquid will come out in the wash the deposit will be refunded. If we are in any doubt we will retain the deposit until the costume has been washed and if the stain vanishes we will contact you to collect your deposit. Any permanent damage to a costume will result in you losing your deposit. Any costumes not returned on the agreed date without prior notice will result in you losing your deposit. Any accessories lost will be charged for from your deposit at the current RRP price of the item.
When a costume is reserved for a future date the deposit must be left at this point to guarantee the booking. If you later change your mind or the party is cancelled and you no longer require the costume, you can get a full refund on the deposit paid providing it is cancelled with at LEAST 7 DAYS notice. If the booking is cancelled after this time then unfortunately no refund can be given and your deposit will be lost.
Once a costume is hired, paid for and has left the premises all hire fees become non refundable.
Usual length of hire is Friday to Monday (midweek bookings are also taken) but we are flexible on this so please discuss this with us if you need the costume for longer.
